Novinkou, ktorú Microsoft predstavil na E3, je program Xbox Play Anywhere. Tento program má za úlohu zjednotiť naše digitálne nákupy a ušetriť nám peniaze, ak chceme niečo hrať na Xboxe, ale sem-tam aj na počítači. Doposiaľ bolo treba mať kúpenú hru pre obe platformy zvlášť, no Xbox Play Anywhere odstraňuje túto bariéru. Všetky hry, ktoré sú v ňom zahrnuté, si kúpite len raz cez Windows Store a následne si ich už môžete stiahnuť na zariadenie, kde ju chcete hrať. Čiže ak idete preč a máte starý Xbox One a zároveň máte herný noťas s Windows 10, hry si môžete stiahnuť tam. Len je treba mať naozaj výkonný hardvér, keďže veľa oznámených hier vyžaduje aspoň 8GB RAM a 2GB grafiku.
